The SC490 is a 4G unlocked phone in a modern bar style. It comes with cutting-edge hearing aid compatibility and an emergency button on the back. This emergency button will allow you to call up to 5 contacts in order and also send out a custom text message when in need. More features include speed-dials, camera, and FM radio.
Choose from a variety of practical yet fashionable accessories to pair with the Jethro SC490. Accessory options include a faux leather carrying case to keep your phone safe from scratches, a lanyard to keep your phone from drops, or an extra charging dock for multiple charging locations.

USA COMPATIBLE CARRIERS
- JETHRO MOBILE: This phone is a perfect match for Jethro Mobile which is powered by T-Mobile. Jethro Mobile offers affordable, reliable, and flexible service that fits your needs. Unlimited talk & text starts at $10 per month and includes free global calling and free unlimited international calling to over 80 countries. Not to mention, the SIM card is already in your phone and ready to be activated.
- T-MOBILE: Fully compatible with T-Mobile and any other carriers that run off its towers.
- VERIZON: If you have an activated Verizon SIM Card, you may insert it into the phone to use it. Please use an IMEI number from an existing Verizon phone or any unlocked smartphone for new Verizon activations to complete the process. Verizon customers may not be able to receive incoming text messages properly. Let us know if you need assistance.
- AT&T: If you want to use AT&T coverage (eg. Consumer Cellular, H20, PureTalk, etc.), we recommend contacting the service provider you would like to use to check compatibility prior to purchasing the phone. We do not recommend using the phone with AT&T directly as AT&T has recently changed its system, and the default determines all non-AT&T phones without recognizable IMEI numbers as 3G, regardless of the actual specifications of the device, including many 4G and even 5G unlocked devices.
- SPRINT: The SC490 will not work on the Sprint network. However, you can switch to Jethro Mobile.
CANADA COMPATIBLE CARRIERS
- CANADIAN CARRIERS: This phone is compatible with Rogers, Telus, Bell, Shaw Mobile, and other carriers run off their network.
- JETHRO MOBILE: While Jethro Mobile does not work in Canada, we do offer travel plans for Canadians visiting the States. With free calling back to Canada and nationwide coverage, you can stay connected with friends and family. Check out our plans here (all of them can be used as a travel plan).
SHIPPING POLICY
- USA: regular (free) shipping takes 3-5 business days to arrive while expedited ($7.99) take 1-3 business days to arrive. Please keep in mind shipping times are estimated and often depend local post offices’ delivery speed. Orders placed before 11 AM PST may be shipped out on the same day via USPS first class or priority.
- CANADA: shipping is $9.99 USD and takes 3-7 business days to arrive. Please keep in mind shipping times are estimated and often depend local post offices’ delivery speed. Orders placed before 11 AM PST may be shipped out on the same day via Canada Post expedited shipping or UPS ground.
